This privacy statement sets out the privacy practices for this website. This page explains how CFR Global Executive Search uses any information you give to us when visiting this website, including the way we protect your privacy. Protecting the privacy and personal data of visitors to our site is of the utmost importance to us.
Visitors to our websites
We use a third party provider, Mail Chimp, to deliver our e-newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see Mail Chimp’s privacy notice.
We use a third party service, WordPress.com, to publish our content which is hosted at WordPress.com, which is run by Automattic Inc. and to power our website search engine. We use a standard WordPress service to collect anonymous information about users' activity on the site, for example the number of users viewing pages on the site and search queries and results to monitor and report on the effectiveness of the site and help us improve it. WordPress requires visitors who want to post a comment to enter a name and email address. For more information about how WordPress processes data, please see Automattic's privacy notice. No user-specific data is collected by either CFR Global Executive Search or any third party when using the search function.
People who call us by phone
When you call us by phone we collect Calling Line Identification (CLI) information. We do not retain any other information from the calls or record them.
Collecting your personal information
You can browse our website without disclosing personal information about yourself. ‘Personal information’ means any information that may be used to identify you, examples of which are mentioned below.
When you register your CV with CFR Global Executive Search via email, then you are giving us permission to use your personal data for the consideration of opportunities related to our services in conjunction with our clients, and to share those data within CFR Global Executive Search and with our clients. We may ask for certain information from you, including, but not limited to: your name, address, email address, date of birth, education, skills and qualifications, employment history (including remuneration details), references, job requirements (including location, salary sought, job industry, job title) plus any other information you may volunteer to us or which is contained in your CV. We reserve the right to delete any sensitive personal information which you may provide to us. Sensitive personal information is defined as information concerning a data subject's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union activities, physical or mental health, sexual life, or details of criminal offences in line with the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016.
Enquiry form/email enquiries
If you make an enquiry with us via email or using our online contact form, we may collect certain information from you, including, but not limited to: your name, your job title, your company name, your email address, your phone number, plus any other information you may volunteer to us as part of your enquiry, including your CV.
If you choose to register your CV with us via email, we may use your personal information to contact you via e-mail, telephone, direct mail or other communication formats to provide you with information or services that you have requested.
The information you provide to us or that we hold about you is stored, where applicable, in a secure cloud server, electronically in our databases, or in our manual databases. We will only process your information in the ways we describe in this privacy statement and in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016.
We reserve the right to delete any sensitive personal information which you may provide to us (see above).
We will use your personal information to fulfil your requests for information and to provide you with services you have requested. We will only process information that is adequate, relevant and not excessive for those purposes. Where we send you information, it may be sent by e-mail or post, for any of the following purposes:
• to inform you of new services which we will be providing;
• to send you requested information about our services;
• for research or marketing purposes; or
• to administer our websites to help us improve our services.

If you wish to unsubscribe from our E-newsletter you can do so from the link provided in the newsletter or by following this link here. You can also write to us at the address given below. If you choose to unsubscribe from our e-newsletter mailing list, we will require sufficient identity details to ensure that we do not contact you again.
Access to personal information
a) Subject Access Request
Individuals can find out if we hold any personal information by making a ‘subject access request’. If we do hold information about you we will:
• give you a description of it;
• tell you why we are holding it;
• tell you who it could be disclosed to;
• let you have a copy of the information free of charge and in an electronic format; and
• erase your data if/when it becomes no longer relevant to the original purpose for which it was collected, or should you decide to withdraw consent.

We withe request within 1 month explaining why we need the extension.
Subject Access Request information will be provided free of charge unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, particularly if it is repetitive, in which case a ‘reasonable fee’ will be charged.
d) Refusal to comply with subject access requestll supply information without delay and at the latest within one month of receipt of the request. This period may be extended by an additional 2 months where the requests are complex or numerous. If we need an extension we will respond to
We can withhold personal data if disclosing it would ‘adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others'. If we choose to refuse a subject access request, we will without delay and at the latest within one month:
• Give reasons for our refusal;
• Inform you of your right to complain to the supervisory authority (ICO);
• Inform you of your right to a judicial remedy.
Correcting inaccurate data
If we do hold information about you, you can ask us to correct any mistakes or update any data by, once again, contacting the CFR Global Executive Search Data Protection Officer.
Disclosure of personal information
In many circumstances we will not disclose personal data to a third party without your specific consent. CFR Global Executive Search will not disclose the personal information that you provide or details of your individual visits to our websites to any unrelated third parties except as provided for in this privacy statement and under the following limited circumstances:
• as necessary for job applications or other services that you have requested, with your consent;
• with third parties who act for us for further processing in accordance with the purposes for which the data was originally collected or for purposes to which you have subsequently consented. For example, sometimes a third party may have access to your personal information in order to support our information technology, to handle mailings on our behalf (see e-newsletter information above), or to provide services that you or our clients have requested (such as reference, qualification and criminal reference checking services and psychometric assessments);

• when we believe the law requires it; for example, to prevent and detect crime and to produce anonymised statistics.
Where appropriate, before disclosing personal data to a third party, we contractually require the third party to take adequate precautions to protect that data and to comply with applicable law.

Retention of personal information
We will hold your personal information for a period of 18 months in order to comply with relevant legislation or as long as is necessary for the provision of services by us, whichever is the greater. We will not keep your personal information for longer than is necessary.
CFR Global Executive Search is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of measures (including, but not limited to, firewalls SSL encryption) to ensure that your personal information is protected from:
• unauthorised access;
• improper use or disclosure;
• unauthorised modification or alteration; and
• unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
However, the Internet is an open system and CFR Global Executive Search cannot guarantee that the personal information you submit will not be intercepted by others.
All our employees and agents who have access to or are involved in the processing of personal information are fully aware of their obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016 and respect the confidentiality of personal information.

CFR Global Executive Search cannot guarantee the content or privacy practices of any external websites and does not accept responsibility for those websites. As CFR Global Executive Search is a global business, from time to time, with your specific consent we may transfer your personal information to CFR Global Executive Search partners located around the world as business requirements dictate.
